What's Hot for Spring 2012
Having just returned from New York’s Spring Fashion Week, I can tell you 2012 is an especially exciting year for color.
Women are looking to experiment with new looks while creating powerful statements. ‘Tangerine Tango’ has been chosen for the 2012 Color of the Year. Tangerine Tango is vivacious, appealing, and adds a jolt of excitement to your wardrobe.
The cheerful and warm yellow seems to follow in line for 2012 as well as shades of purple. Rosy-Red adds some sensuality and intensity this year. Blue is definitely making a strong statement for Spring.
Color was everywhere on the runway for the Spring and Summer looks. Fluorescent bags and totes seem to be in everyone’s Spring collection. However, many top designers mixed in black and white creations.
Flat belt bags are a hot new item as well as bright, large clutch bags with chains and lots of
shiny hardware. Another big trend this season is ‘anything striped’, expect to see stripes on tops,
dresses, handbags, and shoes as it’s a chic casual look.
